FMP | McDowell + Beneditti Architects

Again, going on to research another cited source of inspiration for Alex's branding and brand mark, I was directed to the McDowell + Beneditti Architects site, and was very pleasantly surprised with what I found.

With simple flash devices (which, sadly, for this brief will be unachievable as we are dependent on Cargo Collective in regards to both time management, editing ease for the client, and budget), you are first presented with the simple, yet colourful branding (adding a bit more character to an otherwise reasonably corporate design), and then onto the portfolio, which is rich with photographic imagery which showcases both finalised designs, sketch ups and models, in a really interesting "before and after" style of documentation, which adds to the visual narrative. A really interesting device for their portfolio, and something that I will certainly go on to discuss further with Alex, as I feel this would be a great way to add the narrative blog - like style to his site, as requested, as well as showing his full range and capability in regards to his skills.
