Along with similar letterpress designs, this morning I have also been looking at print outcomes with an emboss (or deboss) print process and finish.
As Alex and I have been discussing the potential of using recyclable (or even animal poo) papers, traditionally which are a little softer and more tactile... consequently, providing a great weight and surface for impress print finishes.
As we continue with the design and visual brand mark developments, Alex and I will undoubtedly evaluate and experiment with the most appropriate stocks and finishes to explore, and hopefully develop a wide and varied body of samples for feedback both within tutorials and group crit sessions.
