FMP | Adam Khan Architecture

www.adamkhan.co.uk

Another regarded source of inspiration for the development of both Alex's brand identity and website is Adam Khan Architects.

Although the website is beautifully clean, minimal, monochromatic (very classic and as a result won't date easily), uses narrative and body copy minimally and effectively and puts a great deal of emphasis of attention on their photographic portfolio, all features which we hope to set out to achieve within Alex's own own website / portfolio, the branding itself is incredibly safe.

Using Helvetica, though... fine, doesn't really give the brand a sense of identity. Despite it being a beautifully geometric and legible type, it is now so commonly used, that it is effectively doing all that branding attempts to avoid- by blending into the background with the rest of the Helvetica logo types in the world.

Although we aim to keep Alex's branding clean, simple, and type - driven, we also hope to distinguish a sense of character and identity for his work, that is simply and effectively visually communicated.
