FMP | Look Book

-

As previously researched throughout the OUGD303 Design Practice III module, in the first semester of the Level 06 degree programme, whilst developing the branding for Jessie Leong (Jessie Leong Photography), I looked to fashion and photography website, 'LookBook' for inspiration (sourced images and screenshots taken from the site shown above and below). LookBook was designed for members to share and be inspired by the fashion and creativity behind it's other members from around the world; to be inspire by trends, and to set new ones.

Having a focus within both fine art and high fashion photography, Jessie's own branding very naturally was influenced by LookBook with a bold, typographic serif style with a simplicity that would serve as a consistency and format to best showcase the photographic portfolio on the site. It is exactly this that I hope to emulate as I finalised Jessie's brand deliverables with a live website that best showcases her stunningly professional and diverse range of work within her portfolio that can be constantly updated with new work and best demonstrate her own approach and favourite projects.

Over the next couple of days, after creating some initial mock up SCAMP designs for the website, I hope to continue to experiment and explore various design layouts and the organisation of images and work throughout the website, with consistent and regular feedback from Jessie as designs develop.
