Another referenced source of inspiration for both aspects of branding and web-based online portfolios / websites, Architecture 2B is based in the Leeds.
Many features on the site work particularly well, again- a bold use of photography, which helps the client to get a clear understanding of their work, and for the best possible showcase of their design, a clear and simple navigation, and a simple yet eye - catchingly consistent colour palette from their branding which is utilised throughout their website.
Despite lots of positive points, I feel that their branding is perhaps a little too corporate. Although the bright orange, and use of geometric vectors with circle icons used throughout, the type feels a little sterile, and not necessarily reflective of the company's beautiful and organic design.
This is something I really hope to portray through Alex's own branding, focusing on generating a concept which not only makes his branding unique and original, but also really demonstrates his style and capabilities within his practice.
