FMP | Jessica Hische Wedding Invitation

One source of contextual research, appropriate to the themes of weddings and wedding planning, as I develop a body of sources for the Hannah Crowson Wedding Planner brief, is the Jessica Hishce wedding invitation. First seen in the summer of 2012, as acclaimed typographer Hische was, herself, getting married, she developed an interactive RSVP, type and image- based design which told the story of her and her partner's relationship, and how they came to be engaged.

With a beautifully considered, decorative typographic style throughout, along with contributing images and illustrations from various friends and designers, all focused towards a black and gold colour palette; the design is beautifully intimate, personal and luxurious.

In terms of methods of delivery, I felt that the online, interactive nature of the site was truly unique in terms of the web development, and certainly opened me up to new ideas and considerations for the development of a more diverse range of deliverables, and exploring the way that web and screen-based design can be harnessed for a memorable and unique customer and user experience.
