Really pleased today to have got the results through from the yearbook pitches, with the tutors deciding that our group (myself, Claudia Griffin, Kirsty Alderson and Kirsty Hardingham), will be able to work on the BA (Hons) Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern yearbook design for the 2012-13 degree year.
As our first choice for the degree course (due to our passion for print and pattern and interest in image making), we were, of course, delighted, even more so as the course leaders are, as of yet, still open to the option of also producing a print-based design outcome, which would allow for an extended brief, and the opportunity to develop yet more work for our design portfolio.
I'm really excited to get started, and start pulling together examples of our work, and vague (we don't want to cement any concepts before discussing the ideas of the course leaders) ideas and concept direction for the potential design outcome(s).
