FMP | Alex Warren Architecture & Abstract Machines

Documentation and photographs from the 'Abstract Machines' exhibition at Leeds Metropolitan University, as organised by the MArch Architecture course, of which Alex Warren, of whom I will be developing the brand identity and brand stationary/digital portfolio for was a significant part of, with an integral role in the Art Direction, layout and design content involved with the exhibition.

I was really impressed with the work showcased at the show (the layout and sheet designs by Alex himself, and the wooden laser cut models by fellow student, Nick Wright, which reflected some of Alex's own design direction and influence [as they often collaborate and work with one another]), and it gave me a good insight into the current development of Alex's Architectural Design portfolio, and his concept- driven design.

I'm really looking forward to working with Alex over the next couple of months, and hopefully we can work together to develop a really strong and visually communicative body of branded deliverables and outcomes that can be used to develop and network with industry contacts, as well as supporting the professionalism of his work as he graduates and seeks full-time employment.
