FMP | WedThings Petal Paper Business Card Test

After a reply from Hannah yesterday in regards to some of the concepts put forward for the development of the WedThings wedding planning/decoration brief, with a really positive attitude and mindset to start exploring the design outcomes, I took a trip into town to buy some pressed petal paper. As the paper itself was quite expensive, unfortunately I couldn't buy too much at this point, but hopefully would be able to buy it at a wholesale price if we were to pursue the use of this stock at a late point.

Taking a swatch from the coloured envelope the cards came with, I printed and cut some quick business card designs which I'll send over to Hannah this evening to keep track of the progress of the project. At this point, I feel like the combination of materials isn't working (combining the 300gsm from with the recyclable pressed petal back). If we were to pursue the experimentation of the design, I'd probably want to look at using recyclable all or nothing. I would also want to colour match the stocks and petals more accurately to the ones used in the petal stock.

Definitely something to discuss and review in more detail asap.
