This morning, after quite a break from the brief (and a definite focus needed), I decided to return to the Paul Danks Property Development brief. Although I was happy with the initial ideas made in previous weeks, definite refinement was needed, and I went on to re-design the logo, making very slight vector-based changes to the bezier curves and the width between the two image characters within the logo mark.
I also went on to re-define the layout/grid structure of the reverse of the card, so that the alignment with the central logo mark on the front of the card is parallel with the text, and given a more interesting alignment in contrast to the composition of the logo.
Over the next couple of days I hope to develop other items in the stationary range, as well as planning to print. As I want to use a metallic silver ink, I hope to go on to screenprint the designs, and then to hand paint the edges in silver to add a real luxury finish to the thick, duplexed stock.
