FMP | 15.04.13 Briefing Notes

Notes from today's briefing with course administrator and design tutor, Fred Bates, for consideration and reflection throughout the final term of the module, and degree programme.

BRIEFING NOTES

* Looking at working in crits this week- staff and peers... see where yearbook as a whole are. 
* Blogs fully up to date, work in professional formats.
* How much more do we need to do for briefs for full exploitation in professional and graded contexts.
* Looking at additional briefs and how we are extending them.
* Always consider product, range and distribution and exploit this.
* Work 8-8 days when free/available... consider the importance of studio visits and placements at this time... how will this affect my development throughout the Final Major Project... always consider this.
* Proposals for end of year show deadlines are due very soon (next two weeks)... Finish La Petit Macaron brief for showcasing within the fortnight.
* Effective presentation for end of year show and evaluation... deadlines NEED to be met at a rapid pace.
* Yearbook meetings are due to be organised very soon... decisions need to be made from today over the following week.
* End of Year show briefing next week- present work we intend to put in end of year show... need to see COMPLETE work... standards to work, etc. 
* Crits Weds 12.30-3, and Thurs 09:30-12 this week, studio 4... individual table, all work laid out with briefs.
* Look at assessable outcomes- how does your work mark against this?
* Articulate where we are up to at this point.
* Write questions for feedback.
* PPD Presentations next week... sign ups at the end of the week... sign up as groups... upload onto mac first thing Wednesday morning.
