FMP | Briefing

Notes from today's briefing session with Course Leader, Fred Bates.

NOTES

- 20 weeks until the D - DAY
- 92 studio days until FMP submission (argh)

- Group tutorials Tuesday (tomorrow) this week and next week. PPD, portfolio, website, studio visits, etc (sign up on Moodle)
- 28th January w/c is portfolio surgery week with visiting professionals. Bring in completed portfolio along with brand stationary, etc
- 17th January, Dissertation Lecture... MUST attend

- Wednesday (this week)... GRAPHIC DESIGN YEARBOOK PITCHES
Must be submitted to the BAGD office by 1PM
- Thursday (from 1AM), pitching ideas to Amber, Phil, and other available tutors
- Thursday Module Briefing- Initial proposals for briefs to be completed, have any questions ready at this point

- NEXT WEEK: FMP GROUP TUTORIALS (look for sign up) for design proposals, bring in word docs, briefs (skills, research, etc) and any initial design development

- Week of 21/01/13... Individual tutorials and one-on-one with tutors
- Statement of intent to be completed by 01/02/13

- National Student Survey will be release soon, keep an eye out (ties in with National Universities and NUS)
- Week immediately after Easter we will be presenting our PPD Design Strategy Presentations... a 10 minute presentation to the group about our professional focus, work/skills development and ambitions for the future
